If reports are anything to go by, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo will release the Xplay 5 smartphone with 6 GB of RAM. 

According to AnTuTu benchmark test, the upcoming Xplay 5 achieved the score of 162,610, the LG G5 smartphone achieved the score of 133,054 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 achieved the score of 116,668.

The result does not specify the RAM of the phone. However, according to reports, such high score can be achieved by 6 GB of RAM.

A new video has surfaced that shows the speed test of the forthcoming Xplay 5 with the another Vivo phone and iPhone 6s. The Xplay 5 is placed between the other two devices. The video shows that the upcoming smartphone opened the app quickest compared to the other handsets.

According to reports, a combination of 6 GB of RAM and Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset is the reason for the speed.

For starters, LG G5 smartphone, which was released in February this year, features a 5.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440 pixels x 2560 pixels.

The smartphone has a 2800mAh removable battery and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The  LG G5 weighs 159 grams and measures 149.40mm x 73.90mm x 7.70mm.

It is powered by 2.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. The LG G5 has 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that owners can expand up to 2000GB via a microSD card slot.

The device sports a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies and a 16-megapixel primary camera on the back, according to a CNET report.

On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy S7 features a 5.1-inch screen with a resolution of 2560 pixels x 1440 pixels, Digital Trends reported. The Samsung device comes with a fingerprint sensor and is powered by Snapdragon 820 processor. The Galaxy S7 has 4GB of RAM.

Various reports suggest that the upcoming Xplay 5 will feature a 5.5-inch screen with 2K resolution. Rumors are also doing the rounds that the handset will include 64 GB of internal storage and with the option to enhance the memory capacity with a microSD card slot.

There are speculations that the upcoming device will sport an 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera. In addition, the Xplay 5 is expected to have a curved screen. Moreover, the Vivo phone will be the first device to have 6 GB of RAM.

Rumors are doing the rounds that the Xplay 5 smartphone will be released on March 1,2016. At present, there is no information on its price range and when the smartphone will be available for public consumption.
