As for the free episodes, Apple users can choose from 24 shows such as "Miles from Tomorrowland" of Disney Junior, "K.C. Undercover" of Disney  "Blackstrom" from Fox,  "The Muskeeters" from BBC America , "12 Monkeys" from Syfy and  "Eye Candy" from MTV.

In addition, iTunes have "Best New Restaurant"  and "Friends to Lovers" from Bravo, "Christina Milian Turned Up" from E, "Vanity Fair Confidential"  and "Breaking Point" from Investigation Discovery, "Breaking Greenville" and "Kart Life" from truTV, "My Big Fat Fabulous Life" and "Love, Lust or Run"  from TLC, "Bring It" from Lifetime, "Ghost Adventures" and "Expedition Unknown" from Travel Channel.

There is also "Ace of Cake" from Food Network, "Rev Run Renovation" and "Texas Flip" from DIY Network, "Rugged Justice" from Animal Planet and "Building Hawaii" and "Fixer Upper" from HTGTV. The episodes are selected and users cannot download the entire series for free.

The free initiative came after the removal of Single of the Week for free promotion. Users can check the iTunes Store and find the blue Free on iTunes icon located in the Music and TV Shows part.

In the TV Shows tab, there are free shows that are not listed on the Free on iTunes area but they bear a yellow flag that indicates Free. In replacement of the "Buy button," the free items have a "Get button."

There are still no reports if iTunes will add free contents such as films and books but there is an ongoing promo for $0.99 for a movie-of-the-week treat. The iBookstore also has few free books that customers can download.

As of this time, the Free on iTunes promo was not publicly announced, therefore, there is no official report about the end date of the promotion.
