"How to Get Away With Murder" season 2, episode 13 will see the Keating Five finding out Wes' (Alfred Enoch) involvement in his mom's murder.
The previous episodes showed Wes believing that his mom Rose took her own life.
However, he recently found out that there's more to the story than what he's being led to believe.
In the teaser released by ABC for episode 13, Wes could be seen talking to Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) about the night his mom was murdered.
At that time, Wes told his professor that he now remembers holding a knife in his hand, and watching as her mom bled to death.
However, it is still unclear whether or not Wes is indeed the one responsible for killing his mother.
For one, "How to Get Away With Murder" is well-known for dropping shocking twists every now and then.
Additionally, the teaser also showed Annalise getting out of the Wes and Rose's house at that time.
By the looks of it, Annalise may have also been involved in killing Rose after the latter refused to help her in Charles Mahoney's case.
With this, Annalise might have been protecting Wes because she feels guilty for killing his mother.
This could also be the very reason why Annalise has developed a close relationship with Wes.
Despite already being stabbed by him, Annalise is still protecting Wes by saying that Laurel (Karla Souza) was the one who stabbed her in the abdomen
Meanwhile, the episode will also see the possible return of Phillip Jessup (Jefferson White).
Just recently, Phillip sent Connor (Jack Falahee) an email of the video clip he took on the night of Emily Sinclair's (Sarah Burns) murder.
If the footage is leaked to the police officials, the members of the Keating Five may be charged with murder.
After Phillip urged Annalise to send money to his account, the latter decided not to do so.
A few minutes passed and they thought Phillip was just faking them, but then he decided to send Connor an email showing Annalise and Nate kissing.
This means that Phillip is just right around the corner, and it's possible that he could risk the lives of Annalise and the Keating Five.
