Bottom-three team Norwich City FC (6-17-6, 24 points) is set to meet struggling contender Manchester City FC (15-8-5, 50 points) at the Carrow Road on Saturday, March 12th in a 2015-2016 Premier League season match.

Norwich City, promoted after finishing last season's Championship at third place, is on a nine-game winless slide to drop to the bottom-three relegation zone for the first time this season. It has been an up-and-down campaign for the Canaries in the English top flight, but they had been reeling in the last two months.

Their last win was on Jan. 2nd, 1-0, over Southampton also at their home field of Carrow Road.

In their most recent match, Norwich was turned back by fellow lowly club Swansea City, 0-1, at the Liberty Stadium last Saturday, as per SkySports.

Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson scored the lone goal of the match for the Swans one minute after the hour mark to hand Alex Neil's boys their third consecutive loss.

Meanwhile, Manchester City snapped their three-game losing skid via a 4-0 annihilation of cellar-dwelling squad Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium also last Saturday, as reported by BBC Sport.

The first half of the match ended without any goals as both teams could not find their groove in their offense at the start.

Controversial midfielder Yaya Touré scored the opening goal three minutes into the second half to finally break the deadlock. Just two minutes after, Argentine striker Sergio Agüero scored the first of his two goals in the game to crack the game wide open.

Agüero pulled off the brace right at the 60th minute of the match to make it a three-goal lead for the Citizens. Sealing the game at the 66th is winger Raheem Sterling, who netted City's fourth goal to complete the blowout victory and end the losing slide of Manuel Pellegrini's team.

The predicted result is a 3-0 romp for Manchester City to pull off their second straight win.
