While outside, Barry and his friends will come face-to-face with Trajectory. The latter is expected to make a mess, and it seems Barry will try everything in his power to stop her.

"Deciding to blow off some steam, Barry and the team head out for a night on the town only to encounter an unexpected speedster who is up to no good," the synopsis read.

Meanwhile, both Barry and Cisco will be attracted with Trajectory, and they will decide to pursue her. However, when they discover that she's up to no good, both male characters will decide to not engage in anything romantic with her.

Elsewhere, Iris West (Candice Patton) will struggle to impress her new boss (guest star Tone Bell). The latter will give the former a new task he expects her to deliver flawlessly.

Surprisingly, Iris and Bell's character will end up flirting with each other, so it seems that there's no hope for a Barry-Iris reunion anytime soon.

"Iris is challenged by an assignment from her new boss, and is surprised when friction turns into flirtation," the synopsis read.

In other news, "The Flash" season 2 is currently on a short hiatus. While it's not on air, The CW announced that the series has been renewed for a third season.

"The Flash" will join the ten other TV shows on The CW, namely, "Arrow," "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," "iZombie," "Jane the Virgin," "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend," "The 100," "The Vampire Diaries," "The Originals," "Reign" and "Supernatural," according to Zap2It.

The CW president Mark Pedowitz said in a statement, "As we continue to further our strategy of more year-round original programming, picking up these 11 series for the 2016-2017 season puts us in a great position of having proven, high-quality shows to launch in the fall as well as midseason and summer of 2017."

"The Flash" season 2, episode 16 will air on March 22 at 8 p.m. ET.
