Second-running squad SSC Napoli (19-3-7, 64 points) will look to stay within striking distance of the top spot in the 2015-2016 Serie A league table to possibly snag this season's domestic top flight title as they clash with streaking club Genoa CFC (9-13-7, 34 points) at the San Paolo Stadium this Sunday, March 20th.

Napoli is on a two-game winning run after three consecutive winless games, giving up the league leadership to defending champions Juventus FC in the process. Currently, they are trying to stay at par with Juve as they are only three points behind La Vecchia Signora in the overall standings with still nine matchdays left in the Italian Serie A season.

In their most recent game, Gli Azzurri nipped reeling squad US Citta di Palermo, 1-0, on the road at the Stadio Renzo Barbera last Sunday, as reported by SB Nation.

Current Italian division 1 top goalscorer Gonzalo Higuaín netted his 27th goal of the season in 29 appearances in the domestic top flight at the 22nd minute of the match via a penalty kick, which proved to be the winner for head coach Maurizio Sarri's side.

Partenopei's win handed Palermo their eighth consecutive winless match that nearly dropped them to the relegation zone as they are only a point above bottom-three squad Frosinone in the current league table.

Meanwhile, Genoa pulled off a stunning 3-2 win over Torino also last Sunday at their home field of Stadio Luigi Ferraris, via Football Italia.

Italian forward Ciro Immobile scored two quick goals at the fourth and 15th minutes to give the visitors a 2-0 lead with lots of time remaining in the match.

However, I Rossoblu netted the next three goals, courtesy of a double from Alessio Cerci and a second half striker from Luca Rigoni, to complete the come-from-behind victory over Il Toro and overtake them for 12th place in the overall standings as well.

The predicted result is a tough 2-1 win for Napoli.
