"Destiny" will have a new Spring update soon. It will increase the max Light feature and also add a new quest for players to enjoy.

In March 17, Bungie has announced there will be a Spring update for "Destiny" this coming April 12, Engadget reported. The game company has been teasing fans of "Destiny" updates for "The Taken King" and its sequel, and this new update is one of their clues for what is coming next.

The new update includes a new quest for players to explore. This quest concerns about the mysterious Blighted Chalice strike. The update also includes new player-versus-environment challenges to enjoy.

Other contents that "Destiny" players need to check out are the Crucible updates. It will have new and updated gear for players to loot. Lastly, the maximum Light level will be increased with rewards to match.

Bungie adds that if players have "Destiny: The Taken King," the new update will be included with the players' purchase. They will just need to download the update when it is available.

The update will also have new Clan Leaderboards to Bungie.net. The company is aware of the different issues in the Leaderboards which is why they are making some changes to it. About 200 Clans will see some "minor housekeeping" from the staff.

One of the differences the clans will be seeing is their members broken down into two groups, which are based on the user's platform. The groups will still be under one clan but will be divided into the PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live groups. Also, a founder of a clan who is not a member of it can appoint a captain to lead that clan as a member of that founder's staff.

Meanwhile, Bungie will host Twitch streams over the next three Wednesdays, according to PlayStationLifestyle. It will show at 11 am PT. The hosts will discuss the new activities to do, new things to learn and the different changes in the Sandbox and Crucible areas.

Bungie will be releasing a new "Destiny" expansion later this 2016. The game's full sequel will be released the following year.
