"Game Of Thrones" season 6 is going to be the best one yet. The declaration has come from none other than HBO Emmy-winning show's creators, David Benioff and Dan Weiss, who has declared that there is not a single weak episode in the whole season.

"We thought at the script stage it might be our strongest season. Then the episodes came in better than we hoped," Benioff told Entertainment Weekly. "But that's my sense - watching them all together now, this is the best one we've done."

Without offering any further specifics on the season, Benioff emphasized that he is most proud of season 6 as it was the hardest one yet. The fact that the show has outpaced the source novels is seemingly one of the reasons why season 6 was the hardest one for Benioff.

"Game Of Thrones" season 6 is the first one to be made without author George R.R. Martin's books to serve as a guide. Martin is reportedly still working on his sixth novel "The Winds Of Winter," which is likely to be released by the end of this year, though, a publication date is yet to be announced.

HBO, too, has been keeping tight-lipped about its hit series' upcoming season. Although the show's cast and crew did hold their annual ComicCon panel last summer, they did not confirm any new character for the upcoming season. With the show set to premiere on April 24, HBO still has not revealed any new cast members or characters thus far.

However, Liam Cunningham, the actor who plays Ser Davos in the series, has recently claimed in an interview with TVLine that the viewers of the show will find many new faces in the upcoming season. The 54-year-old also claimed that the show will feature many more shocking deaths, just like the merciless and the shocking killing of Jon Snow in the finale episode that ended the season 5 with a cliffhanger.

After keeping the fans waiting for months, the network has finally released "Game Of Thrones" season 6 trailer. While the opening scene of the teaser seemingly confirms Snow's death, a couple of scenes showed the return of Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead-Wright), who was not seen in the entire last season.
