Actress Chloë Grace Moretz is once again making noise in the online world, as the 19-year-old actress just declined Taylor Swift's famous squad invitation.

It is no news that Moretz is a known feminist, however, new reports have it that the "Carrie" actress is not a 'squad goals' type of girl and apparently taken a solid anti-squad stand. She then added that girl squad are cliques and appropriate exclusivity, in a recent interview with Complex.

The actress conceded that she was previously invited to join Taylor Swift's entourage at some point.  When asked to elaborate further about the said invitation from the famous squad, the actress apparently holds back and jokingly said 'You know I can't,' and lastly settle with the simple answer by saying that the said pop star is a talented person.

It is not the first time that the actress conceded that she is not really into the squad idea. In fact, Moretz already made some similar, salty remarks in a previous NYLON interview, in which she said that creating exclusivity is one of the issues in joining squads.

Known as being a candid proponent of gender equality and social stances, many critics' apparently question her decision to act as Ariel in Disney's live-action reimagining of "The Little Mermaid." Considering the film's plot, in which a mermaid princess sacrifices her essence for the mere shot at gaining a man's favor, it has been exceedingly debated by several women's activist groups over the years.

"We can't make this regressive tale in a modern world," she said. "We are going to flip it on its head. It's going to feel good for women and men in the sense that it is not just appropriating feminism, and it's not leaning on regressive stereotypes." Adding that equality is not just about women being powerful and that it is about both races and genders being powerful.
