"19 Kids and Counting" stars Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar are reportedly heading for a divorce. Multiple insiders claim that their son, Josh Duggar, is one of the main reasons for the split.
According to In Touch magazine, Jim Bob and Michelle are constantly arguing about Josh's progress after the rehab. While he believes that Josh is "completely cured," Michelle allegedly still has her reservations.
Although the Duggar family publicly claimed that they are behind Josh 100 percent, turns out some of the family members were still wary about Josh's sex addiction. The outlet reported that even his own mother agreed that Josh should not be around some of the female younger children. Jim Bob and Michelle's constant fighting is reportedly "splitting the family apart."
"They rarely argue, but this one was a doozy. [Jim Bob] argued about putting family first and how Michelle needed to move on and put things in the past, and she stood her ground and said she was putting family first by being cautious."
The insider further claimed that Michelle actually raised her voice to Jim Bob, something that she has never done before. Friends of the former "19 Kids and Counting" stars speculated that if the fight goes on, this could ultimately destroy their marriage. It also did not help that the Duggar family reportedly blames Josh for the reality series being cancelled.
In the even that Jim Bob and Michelle actually get a divorce, Celeb Dirty Laundry pointed out that this will set a bad example for Josh and Anna Duggar. The publication reported that Michelle "begged" Anna to stay with Josh following the scandal. Jim Bob on the other hand allegedly bought her a big house with a pool just to forgive Josh.
It was said that Anna herself demanded a "huge payoff" from both Jim Bob and Michelle after she found out that their son cheated on her. Jim Bob and Michelle are reportedly willing to do and give everything to Anna if she would act like a "submissive" and "loving" wife. If the couple ended up filing for a divorce, the insider believed that Anna will soon follow suit and leave Josh.
