After that shocking "Pretty Little Liars" season 6 finale, fans of the Freeform series cannot help but wonder what will happen next come season 7. Is Hanna (Ashley Benson) alive? Who is behind her kidnapping? A new report also suggest that the network will most likely cancel "PLL" after season 7.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Benson admitted that she, herself, does not know what will happen to Hanna when "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 premieres. The actress admitted that her fate is actually "questionable" at this point.
Although some "Pretty Little Liars" fans can chalk Hanna's kidnapping as just another cliff hanger, Benson claimed that Marlene King killing one of the Liars is not far from happening.
"I mean, it really could be Hanna, you never know. You may not see me next season guys," she teased.
Benson shared that they will start filming "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 in a couple of weeks. She hinted that no one is safe in the coming episodes, the Liars and the boys. When asked what spoilers she can share to "PLL" fans, the actress said that details are still being kept under wraps. She added that she is actually curious on what will happen next, adding that she is completely kept under the dark of Hanna's fate.
If it were up to her, Benson said that she wanted Hanna to be alive and for Haleb (Hanna and Caleb) to get back together. She added that she wanted the two to
"Let's just put me away with Caleb, so then we have no choice but to be back. Just locked in the room the whole season and he's the only one I see and then we get married."
In other news, Inquisitr reported that "Pretty Little Liars" may end up getting cancelled after season 7. It was said that some of the fans were starting to get tired of the Big A storyline and cannot wait for the Freeform series to wrap up. One of the lead stars, Lucy Hale (Aria Montgomery) even admitted that she may not return if the show gets renewed for an eight season. The outlet speculated that in the even that "PLL" gets renewed, the show will no longer star all the five girls that fans grew to love.
