Pre-orders for the iPhone SE started on March 24 at local smartphone stores worldwide and can get them on March 31. Fans can also check out Apple's website to get a reservation for launch day.

Reviewers have praised the new smartphone especially its features and powerful internal specifications, according to Mac Rumors. Overall, the iPhone SE is the best smartphone for those who want it on a smaller design and want to save some cash.

The new iPhone SE looks almost like the iPhone 5 but it is an update of it. iPhone 6 or 6 Plus is far superior, but the SE has some notable features that compete with it, according to Modern Readers. Apple made two versions of the smartphone which are the 16GB version and the 64 GB version.

The publication recommends the 64GB version of the smartphone for consumers who want to take selfies, download games, and listen to many song files through the use of an app like Spotify, since SE lacks the iPhone's traditional MicroSD slot for expansion. The 16GB version is only good for consumers who just want to surf the net, read email, and use minimal mobile apps. The 16GB version is $399 while the 64GB version is $499.

It has a display size of 4 inches, which is smaller compared to the other iPhones out in the market today. For those who are having a hard time using a large screen, this is the best smartphone they want to buy. Also, its battery life can last for 10 hours compared to other Apple phone units.

Aside from the lack of a MicroSD slot, it lacks of the 3D Touch pressure-sensitive screen and the super-fast Touch ID, which are all present in the recent Apple iPhone units. While the rear camera is obviously superior with a 12 megapixel sensor, the FaceTime camera only has a 1.2 megapixel sensor and can only be used for photos.
