Fans of AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead" will be treated with the most iconic villain in the original comic books, Negan, during the April 3 Season 6 episode finale. Show creator and executive producer, Robert Kirkman, teased that Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in the TV series will be the same as the Negan in the comic books.

Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, "The Walking Dead" creator talked of how Negan will be portrayed in the series. According to Kirkman, Negan is kind, respectful, psychotic, and ruthless.

The executive producer added, "This is a very nuanced character that has a lot of different shades to him. There's a lot of honor to him. There's a rule system in place. I think he's unlike anything anybody's experienced in 'The Walking Dead' thus far."

Furthermore, Kirkman dished on something that fans may expect to occur with the looming arrival of Negan in the series - the famous comic book scene where the character whacked the head of one character, killing him.

The series creator believes that everybody on the show recognizes the comic book scene for the iconic, monumental moment that it is, according to Comic Book. The cast acknowledges at least doing something in the show. The scene is a very huge section of Negan's introduction and creators wish to do it justice.

Based on what the comic books had as possibly the best moment of Negan in the whole story, it raises the question as to whether the showrunners pulled off the same incidents in the TV series and killed in a brutal way one of the beloved characters. Kirkman pointed out that with the shock and effect the iconic Negan scene left when it first featured in the comics, creators are set to recreate that shock and abrupt feeling by delivering something similar.
