"Star Wars: Episode VIII" reported scene leaks show the fate of Skywalker twins.

Luke (Mark Hamill) will be going to a big space casino to look for someone as opposed to gambling, according to Making Star Wars. However, the source does not give further details on the person whom the Master Jedi is looking for or whether he is accompanied by anyone on his journey.

In "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens," Rey (Daisy Ridley) found Luke in an isolated island. Seemingly, the two will embark on a journey that includes Rey's training to become a Jedi.

Although Luke journeys on what may be his return, his sister, general Leia Organa (Carrie Fisher) will allegedly have a grimmer future. Reports indicate that the Resistance's best pilot, Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) has issues with a new character played by Laura Dern.

Dern's exact role is still unclear, but based on the leaks; she may be some sort of a captain or officer on the side of the Resistance. Dern will tell Dameron that General Organa is badly injured and he is currently receiving medical attention.

Just because Dameron and Dern will be clashing does not imply the latter will be someone from the dark side, according to Collider. It is likely that the conflict will emerge from their differences.

Meanwhile, completing the legacy characters is Han Solo's (Harrison Ford) reported appearance in the next film. However, as opposed to the Skywalker twins, it may be somehow tricky to include the smuggler back in "Episode VIII" considering that he was killed by his own son, Kylo Ren (Adam Driver).

Furthermore, it is rumored that a huge funeral, purportedly for Solo will occur in the upcoming movie. As a result, the only plausible ways for Solo to play a role in the upcoming sequel is through a dream, a flashback, or a vision.

So far, Disney and Lucas Film Limited are yet to confirm any of these speculations. Seemingly, they will keep the project under wraps until "Star Wars: Episode VIII" hit the big screen on Dec. 15, 2017.
