Despite Ubisoft's failure to officially announce and reveal significant information about "Watch Dogs 2," it appears that the game is now available for pre-order.

Gamestop (UK and Ireland) listing of "Watch Dogs 2" indicates that gamers in Europe can already pre-order the game; however, the listing only specified Xbox One and PS4 platform pre-orders and it does not even have any official box art yet. Gamestop UK listed "Watch Dogs 2" for 44.97 pounds, while Gamestop Ireland listed the game for 74.99 Euros.

Unfortunately, aside from the unofficial box art, platform and pre-order price, no other information was listed. According to PlayStation Lifestyle, this is understandable since Ubisoft has not even officially released "Watch Dogs 2's" development and existence.

However, since Gamestop already put a listing for the game, gamers might get to see "Watch Dogs 2" release date this year. To back this claim, the same publication suggests that "Watch Dogs" sequel will be officially revealed on Electronic Entertainment Expo, which will be held on June 14 to June 16. With Ubisoft letting "Assassin's Creed" series rest for this year, it is highly likely that "Watch Dogs 2" will definitely fill in the gap to Ubisoft's Fall 2016 lineup.

Meanwhile, with the much-anticipated release of "Watch Dogs 2," many game enthusiasts are hoping that the French multinational video game developer and publisher will deliver more innovation and will pack "Watch Dogs 2" with more exciting character and gameplay.

What Ubisoft hinted so far during AMD's press conference at GDC is that, "Watch Dogs" sequel will support DirectX 12. Although the game publisher did not go into further details on how exactly DirectX 12 will be implemented, fans are hoping to never experience the lags and stuttering that they've experience with the original game. In addition, many fans are hoping that DX12 support for "Watch Dogs 2" will really deliver them a great gameplay performance.
