When Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" starts airing April 24, the hit HBO fantasy-drama series will not only shed light on the mystery of Jon Snow's death but most certainly will also usher in more deaths. Bloods have been spilled in the past five seasons and there won't be a let up in the upcoming 10 episodes this 2016.

Here is the list of GoT characters - loved and hated - expected to die, a number to be killed violent, in the new show chapter to unfold soon:

Walder Frey

Walder Frey conspired with Tywin Lannister to execute the bloody Red Wedding Massacre. He engineered the gruesome deaths of Catelyn and Robb Stark (including Robb's pregnant wife, Talisa), the latter partly due to not honoring an earlier vow to marry one of Frey's daughters.

The carnage that Frey had allowed on his own backyard effectively ended the Northern rebellion but according to The Hollywood Reporter, GoT fans will again have a glimpse of the treacherous Frey. "He's (actor David Bradley) virtually guaranteed to return to Thrones at some point, if only to receive just punishment for his role in the Red Wedding," the report said.

The High Sparrow

In Season 5, the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) nearly has the King's Landing at the palm of his hand. He put not only the Tyrells behind bars but also the Queen Regent, Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey). With the High Sparrow tussling with the royalties of the Seven Kingdoms it is but assured that war and violence will ensue as hinted by Cersei in the latest Game of Thrones trailer.

Will Ser Robert or The Mountain, acting on the Queen's orders, crash the High Sparrow's head in the same way that Oberyn Martell met his horrifying death?

Jorah Mormont

Jorah escaped death numerous times but when he was infected with the greyscale disease, the end has become inevitable for the troubled knight. Season 6 might be the last for Jorah but Tech Insider is convinced that prior to saying goodbye his character will again perform one glorious deed for Daenerys Targaryen, perhaps increasing her chance of ascending to the Iron Throne.

The Boltons

Once a bannerman of the Starks, Roose Bolton is currently the Warden of the North - the prize he got for turning his back and slaying the King in the North, Robb Stark. Either Roose will lose the Lannister protection and become exposed to rebellion or his insecure and sadistic son, Ramsay, will deliver the cruel poetic justice and kill the elder Bolton to secure his claim on Winterfell.

But Ramsay will also need to pay for his crimes in the same manner that the equally despised King Joffrey departed. For raping Sansa Stark, torturing Theon Greyjoy and burning or flaying his prisoners alive Ramsay will be meted just punishment and not a tear will be shed.

Jon Snow?

Actor Kit Harington has admitted that he will return to Game of Thrones Season 6 to shoot scenes that will confirm his death at the hands of the Night's Watchers. However, fan theories do persist that Snow will cheat death, thanks to Lady Melisandre, and raise an army to win back Winterfell for the House Stark.

A resurrected Jon Snow is also believed the one to cut off the head of Ramsay Bolton and then someday become of ruler of Westeros. Snow is rumored as the rightful heir to the Iron Throne as his father was Rhaegar Targaryen and not Eddard Stark.

Yet all of these will either get debunked or confirmed beginning on the Game of Thrones Season 6 April 24 broadcast.
