Another angel is on the way for Hong Kong actor-singer Andy Lau and his Malaysian wife Carol Choo. "Next" magazine broke the news on March 29, Tuesday, with a cover photo of the 50-year-old Choo sporting a baby bump.

Several reports have claimed that Lau's wife is reportedly receiving regular artificial insemination a year after they welcomed their first child named Hanna. The married couple had reportedly become vegetarians and prayed to Buddha to bless them with another child.

In 2013, the 54-year-old Cantopop singer openly admitted that he wants to have another child, specifically a boy, The Jayne Stars reported. As of recently, the Hong Kong magazine claimed that Choo is about four months pregnant, after the she was spotted at a dried seafood shop in Kowloon City on March 22.

Due to the recent flu epidemic, Choo was wearing a loose maternity dress and a mask the entire time. She was accompanied by Lau's assistant and security guards, The AH MIKE has learned.

It is also worth noting first that as of this writing, the pregnancy reports are still unverified. Nonetheless, Lau just added fuel to the fire by neither denying nor confirming the report, when contacted by Apple Daily.

"No response, thank you for your concern," he said.

According to sources, Choo has been taking extra care since she learned about her pregnancy in December 2015. Lau, on the other hand, has taken over the obligation of taking Hanna to class when he is in Hong Kong.

"Each time it failed, she would wait two weeks and try again," an unnamed source said. "Andy didn't want his wife to suffer too much and made it clear they would try two more years, till she's 50, then give up. But they succeeded in the end."
