"The Walking" season 6 episode finale may see the death of at least one character.
In an interview with Comic Book, Melissa McBride said that she felt sick after reading the script for this season's final episode.
"It was so very dark. I couldn't say anything after I had finished reading it. I felt like I had dropped into a black hole," she said.
"The Walking Dead" cast member Andrew Lincoln also had similar thoughts with that of McBride.
"It was the first day in the whole six years of working on 'The Walking Dead' that I was late for work because I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn't get back to sleep. I was so angry and frustrated and I felt sick. And that was just after reading it," he told Entertainment Weekly.
Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie on the hit AMC show added, "Andy talks about being late to work; I didn't want to go to work that day. It took a really, really long time for everybody to feel okay again after the finale, let's put it that way."
"Hearing the word finale gives me a physical reaction because it's the hardest day on set that I've ever had in my life. I never even imagined that as an actor you could have that experience. It's one of the most raw experiences that I think any of us have ever had," she continued.
As of late, it is still unknown which character will be killed off, and whether or not it's either McBride's, Lincoln's or Cohan's.
Meanwhile, the upcoming death in the season 6 finale is not the first time fans will say goodbye to at least one of their favorite characters.
In the past, the show has already killed off Jessie and Denise, and as shocking as their demise was, fans seem to have already moved on from it.
In other news, the finale episode of "The Walking Dead" season 6 is expected to air on Apr. 3 on AMC. Following the finale, the cast members will return for the seventh season of the hit TV show.
