The decision to set the production in Australia is mainly associated with Hemsworth and his wife's (Elsa Pataky) plan to raise their children away from the suburbs of Los Angeles, which the "Blackhat" actor cited as a tough place to raise kids.

Unlike their home in LA, Hemsworth and Pataky, along with the couple's three children, India Rose (3 yrs old), and the twins Tristan and Sasha who are both 2 years old, are expected to move in a more serene environment which the actor described as similar to a farm near to a beach, Australia Network News reported.

Hemsworth made it clear though that even if he will stay in Australia, he is certain that he will not give up his acting career, especially his Hollywood career. He added that he loves what he does and he does not intend to give it up. If work would require him to travel outside his country, he said that he will not refuse if the project really demands him to.

On one hand, although the production has not started yet, rumors about the "Thor: Ragnarok's" cast and plot have surfaced. One of which is the reported acceptance of Cate Blanchett (Academy Award-winning actress) to fill the role of Hela, the main villain in the latest movie. According to rumors, Hela will be the cause of one of the key character's death. Heimdall, played by Idris Elba, is said to be that character. Gossips also revealed that the Hulk will be included in "Thor: Ragnarok," and will play a big role in the film.

Furthermore, the filming of the third "Thor" movie was reported to start this June, and it would be interesting to see the final product of this movie knowing that most of the Marvel films are produced within Marvel's studio in Atlanta.

The third sequel of "Thor" will premiere on 2017.
