Square Enix confirmed "Hitman" episode 2 release date as April 26 through a Tweet, containing the announcement and the short teaser video. Agent 47 will return in the action-packed game's second itineration, "Sapienza," teasing a new beach location through a video.

"Hitman" episode 2 is relocating Agent 47 to "Sapienza," which is actually the fictional name of an Italian town where the upcoming mission is centered. The news was first announced on Hitman's official tweeter page while a short teaser video was also released on its official YouTube channel.

The new setting of the game features brightly sunny places as evident from the introductory photo and video, which so far show a ball in the sandy waters, and a port with dummy crocodile and ships floating in the background. This conforms with the previous trailer of "Hitman" episode 2, depicting similar places and locations.

According to Square Enix, "Sapienza" or the Episode 2 is going to be a densely populated place with a lot of opportunities. "From a luxurious mansion to the medieval church situated by the beach and the cramped alleys littered with stores, Sapienza is a dense location full of challenges and packed with opportunities and stories for the enterprising player to unfold," Gamespot quoted the gaming company as saying.

As mentioned, the game is going to be a six-episode saga, all of which have been developed and were supposed to be launched all at once, but according to the gaming site, there was a change of decision. The gaming company decided to launch the locations in an episodic manner, putting the episode 1 "Paris" in the front and pushing "Hitman" episode 2 "Sapienza" release date to April 26. While the third episode takes the blood bath to Morocco, which will be released this May.

The game news reviewed first episode as not "ground-breaking" and also wrote that the process of hiding bodies was very time-consuming while loading time also added to the disappointments. While on the positive side, the review also pointed out that "Hitman" episode 1 "Paris" would delight the players because of its open-ended design and outrageous game enemy styling.

Square Enix's "Hitman" episode 2 is still weeks from finally arriving on PS4, Xbox One and PC. While "Sapienza" remains undiscovered, the following teaser video hints at its breathtaking locations.
