Now that "Batman V Superman" is out, it is time for the DCEU to move to a new phase and that includes Batman having his standalone movie franchise.

It has been confirmed that after "Justice League," Ben Affleck will have his own independent "Batman" movie. Although that is at least three years in the making, that did not stop website Creators.co to pitch some ideas on who should be Ben Affleck's newest rivals.

On top of their list is Matt Damon playing the role of Hush. The insane villain, who is also known as Thomas Elliott, is a childhood friend of Bruce Wayne. Apparently, the same can be said on Damon and Affleck's relationship, as they are both childhood friends, which would make it easier on-screen.

Next on the list is John Goodman as Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot, popularly known as Penguin. Aside from the uncanny resemblance, his experience in acting fits the character very well. In his role in the movie "10 Lane Cloverfield," he played an old man who could be funny and at the same time, can turn into a scary and intimidating fellow.

Also, Leonardo DiCaprio is a favorite to take part on the said film as Edward Nigma, also known as The Riddler. According to the author, the smarts that DiCaprio brings in each of his roles will translate to the said villain. He further added that DiCaprio winning an Oscar will bring more credibility to the role.

Representing iconic female characters are Charlize Theron as Selena Kyle/Catwoman and Jessica Chastain as Poison Ivy. Other big names included in the list are Jason Statham as Mr. Freeze, Bryan Cranston as Hugo Strange and Tom Hardy as Two Face.

In other news, Affleck confirmed that he has written a draft for the solo "Batman" movie in an interview with Hollywood Reporter. He signed a contract to appear in three more DCEU films, two being "Justice League" part one and two, and the solo "Batman" film.
