"Legends Of Tomorrow" actor Johnathon Schaech,46, put to rest rumors regarding his relationship with talk show host Ellen DeGeneres,58. During a recent interview, he opened up about his previous marriages and said it was an honor to be with DeGeneres.

In a candid online interview conducted by Reddit, Schaech admitted to being photographed with the Emmy-winning star. However, Schaech said he accompanied DeGeneres to events as his manager at the time had requested him to do so.

"My manager asked me to accompany her to events. She was scared people would not watch the show, her sitcom "Ellen" because she was gay. It was an honor," Schaech said during his online interview.

Daytime talk show host DeGeneres and Schaech were seen together in the 90's. According to media reports in 1997 DeGeneres came out as being gay. The same year that DeGeneres came out as being gay her character on the comedy "Ellen" also came out, media reported.

Schaech went out to praise DeGeneres. He also elaborated on his years of growing up with a gay uncle and a gay aunt. "If you don't love ELLEN now - you don't watch her show. She's a great example for the human race," Schaech told those who participated in the online interview.

The duo was memorably pictured at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in 1995. Schaech revealed that two years later he was picked to appear in DeGenere's coming out episode. However, he said he ran a marathon and could not walk afterward and got replaced.

The "Texas Rising Star" opened up about his past relationships and marriages as well. He is currently married to Julie Solomon and the couple has one child, Camden, Us Weekly reported.

The star also previously married Jana Kramer and Christina Applegate.Schaech and Applegate divorced in 2007 following six years of marriage. The "Samantha Who" actress, underwent a double mastectomy in 2008. Applegate married Martyn LeNoble in February 2013, the American publication reported.

A month after tying the knot with Kramer, Schaech and she went their separate ways in 2011. Thereafter, Kramer went on to marry Mike Caussin. Kramer and Caussin have one child.
