"Descendants of the Sun" star Song Hye-Kyo took a moment to thank her fans for their unending support in the on-going hit melodrama TV series. The actress shared cute photos with co-star Song Joong-ki.
With the popularity of the drama keeps on taking off, it has been reported that "Descendant of the Sun" is set to air on a new free-to-air station, Viu TV, in Hong Kong. That said, the so-called "Song-Song" couple attended a press conference in the said region on April 5, Tuesday, which marks their first overseas TV series press event, The Asia Times reported.
After their Hong Kong promotional trip, the 34-year-old Hye-Kyo, who plays Dr. Kang Mo-yeon, took to Instagram and shared four cute photos with Joong-ki, who play as Army Captain Yoo Si-jin.
"Descendants of the Sun" lead stars just made fans got more hyped about a big theory as the posted photos seemingly show as if they are a real-life couple. The second photo that has been shared by actress Hye-Kyo shows a shot of herself and Joong-ki, who is pulling a clever face next to her.
Aside from that, it also accompanies a heartfelt caption in English language saying: "A gift for those who have waited patiently."
The mega-hit drama series follows the love story between Army Captain Yoo and Doctor Kang. Due to the United Nation's request, they are stationed in an anecdotal war-torn nation of Uruk.
With their irrefutable on-screen chemistry and romance, the Song-Song couple has long been plagued with dating rumors. The 30-year-old actor then speaks up and puts an end to this never ending speculations between Hye-Kyo,
Joong-ki revealed that both of them were aware of those dating rumors and admitted that they are truly enjoying them, to the point that they even discussed it amid company dinners.
"I think that the viewers think that because of the overwhelmingly positive response that the drama has gotten," he added.
