Milan is on a downward spiral this late in the season as the team had been winless in five of its last six outings. They are currently on a four-game winless spell as they dropped to the sixth spot of the league table, 14 points behind third-running AS Roma, who holds the third and final Champions League berth for next season.

I Rossoneri is coming off a sorry 1-2 defeat to lowly club Atalanta BC at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia in Bergamo last Sunday, as per ESPN.

Milan actually opened the scoring in the match, courtesy of a 5th minute penalty kick by Brazilian striker Luiz Adriano, as they looked headed to snap their three-game winless slide.

However, it was the only goal of the game for Siniša Mihajlović's boys as La Dea's Chilean forward Mauricio Pinilla equalized it one minute before the halftime break. Argentine midfielder Alejandro Gómez netted the winner two minutes after the hour mark to extend Milan's sufferings to four games.

Meanwhile, Juventus seems unbeatable these days as they are presently on a 21-game undefeated streak. With only seven games left in their Italian top flight campaign, it sure looks like La Vecchia Signora will capture their fifth consecutive Scudetto at the end of the season.

Juve nipped another reeling team, Empoli FC, 1-0, at the Juventus Stadium last Saturday to extend their winning run to five games, as reported by Goal.

Croatian striker Mario Mandzukic scored the lone goal of the contest for Massimiliano Allegri's side with a diving header at the 44th minute.

The win was Le Zebre's seventh consecutive at home and another clean sheet for goalkeeping legend Gianluigi Buffon.

The predicted result is a close 2-1 victory for Juventus.
