"Scandal" Season 5 returns with episode 18 on April 21, Thursday. The upcoming segment is titled "Til Death Do Us Part" and it focuses on the aftermath of Olivia's actions and explores Scott Foley's Jake's backstory. Here are detailed spoilers and promo revealing what happens in the next chapter of the ABC's television drama.

In episode 17 "Thwack," Susan wins the Republican debate defeating Mellie and Hollis. Meanwhile, Andrew makes a surprising return challenging Olivia. Olivia doesn't take it too well and end up beating him up to death with a chair in the bunker.
Moving on to the next episode, it is expected to deal with the aftermath of Olivia's shocking act. ABC has already released a synopsis for the upcoming segment on its official website. According to the press release for "Scandal" Season 5 episode 18 "Til Death Do Us Part," the major part of the show will see Olivia deal with the consequences of her actions. At the same time, fans can expect to see some big revelations.
While Olivia is still trying to repair the damage she caused in the previous episode, she makes a shocking discovery. She finds out that Jake and her father have collaborated for a sinister plan. Finally, Jake and Rowan's ulterior motives are revealed.
Unfortunately, she can't do much to stop them because their plans are already in motion. However, she must fend for herself before it's too late. So, Olivia is forced to resort to some desperate measures to protect herself and stop Jake and Rowan.
In addition, episode 18 delves deeper into Jake's storyline. The upcoming "Scandal" Season 5 segment features some flashbacks shedding light on Jake's difficult past and reveals how he got involved in the matters related to B6-13.
