The Nintendo eShop super spring sale was launched on April 7, Thursday, and Nintendo has given discounts to a lot of Wii U and 3DS games. The game company has also promised customers that they will reward them if they buy from the digital shop.

The digital shop offered different Wii U games with ranging discounts and the notable ones were "Mario Kart 8" for $41.99, "Mario Party 10" for $34.99, and "Tekken Tag Tournament 2" for $13.99, according to Nintendo's official website. There were also 3DS games being offered with discounts like mystery game "Virtue's Last Reward" for $11.99, which has over 50 percent discount, pay $29.99 for "Story of Seasons," and "Shin Megami Tensei IV" for $13.99.

Aside from the retail games for both consoles, there were eShop and Virtual Console games to check out. Notable eShop games to purchase were "SteamWorld Dig" for $6.99, which are available on both consoles and "CastleStorm" for $4.99 on Wii U. Virtual Console games, which were mostly under $5, have some classic games discounted too, like popular classic game "Duck Hunt" and "Galaga," which were both $3.49, and for Wii U and 3DS consoles respectively.

The website claimed that the sale was only offering up to 30 percent off, but it was evident that there were some games that have over 50 percent discount like "DuckTales Remastered." Overall, only a few notable Nintendo games have big discounts, while most of them only have small ones. The game company suggested the game shoppers to hurry because the spring sale will end by April 21.

According to Attack of the Fanboy, purchasing games through the eShop will get Nintendo shoppers My Nintendo Gold Points, which can get them Wii U and 3DS games. To get the special points, users must link their Nintendo Network ID and Nintendo Account properly.

Meanwhile, "Star Fox Zero" was also being offered on the digital shop with a special promo. The much awaited game can be purchased from the digital shop for $49.99, while a packaged version will come with the "Star Fox Guard" game for $59.99. If customers will buy both digitally, they will get a $4.99 discount to take advantage of.
