The iPhone7 might be released a little later than the traditional release dates of new iPhone series, which mostly debuts in September. According to Apple Insider, the delay was done on purpose in order to strengthen the demand for the iPhone 6s for most of 2016 before the iPhone 7 is rolled out.

Moreover, Apple might be ditching the 3.5mm headphone port. According to Mac World, the tech company promised that the iPhone 7 would be greater and more unique than the previous models. According to speculations, Apple would be replacing the 3.5mm headset with a wired headset plus a Bluetooth wireless headset.

There are also rumours that the iPhone 7 would not be made out of metal. Apple has promised to release a waterproof iPhone, and as such, people were kind of disappointed when they learned that the iPhone 6 was not the model Apple promised. The tech company has since claimed that it is working on a water proof model. According to speculations, the seventh iPhone generation might just be the waterproof Apple phone enthusiasts have been waiting for.

Furthermore, Apple, as a whole, produces great and innovative products; however, even fans of the tech company complain about the Apple chargers. According to reports, consumers no longer have to worry about their iPhone charger cords breaking, as it seems like the upcoming iPhone 7 would be equipped with a wireless charging feature.

Although people have expected this wireless feature from Apple over the past few years, this may be the year that the company is ready to mass produce such feature to its upcoming devices, starting with its iPhone 7 flagship.

The upcoming iPhone 7 is also rumoured to have a flush rear camera, stereo speakers, thinner Lightning port and no antenna bands. The iPhone 7 reportedly would no longer have a bulging camera, making the handset more durable and more fit for certain casings.
