Roma had been undefeated for 10 straight games as they hang at the third spot of the current league table, four points behind second-running Napoli and 10 points adrift of defending champions and current league leaders Juventus FC.

I Giallorossi is coming off a spectacular 4-1 derby win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico last Sunday, as per ESPN.

Young striker Stephan El Shaarawy netted the opening goal at the 15th minute to give Luciano Spalletti's side the 1-0 lead at the half while veteran striker Edin Dzeko doubled the lead at the 64th minute in the second half.

Lazio midfielder Marco Parolo scored a consolation goal at the 75th before La Maggica unloaded two more goals late in the game, courtesy of winger Alessandro Florenzi and striker Diego Perotti at the 83rd and 87th minutes respectively to seal the win for Roma.

Meanwhile, Bologna is settled at the 12th spot of the league table, tied on points with Torino, Atalanta, and Empoli, and only eight points above the bottom three relegation area. The team is looking to string a couple of wins in the remaining seven games of their current campaign to avoid getting demoted to the Serie B next season.

I Veltri suffered their third consecutive loss in their last six outings in the hands of bottom-dwelling club Hellas Verona, 0-1, at their own home field of Stadio Renato Dall'Ara last Monday, as reported by SkySports.

Mastini's Brazilian defender Samir provided the lone goal of the contest which proved to be the winner for Verona as the visitors pulled off only their third win of the season.

The loss extended Bologna's winless streak to six games with their last win coming in the middle of February, 1-0, over Udinese.

The predicted result is a 3-0 romp for Roma.
