"The Flash" Season 2 episode 18 will not air this week as the show continues to be on two-week hiatus. The CW's superhero show will resume its run on April 19, Tuesday with a new instalment titled "Versus Zoom." Here are spoilers for the next chapter of the series. Read on to find out what happens when Barry Allen comes face-to-face with Zoom.

In the previous episode, Barry went back in time where he seeks help from Dr. Harrison Wells to come up with a solution to Speed Force problem. Meanwhile, Eobard tries to kill Barry but fails. Instead, Barry uses Eobard to help him solve the problem.
Moving on to "The Flash" Season 2 episode 18. The upcoming segment is aptly titled "Versus Zoom" and suggest the occurrence of the highly anticipated encounter between Barry and Zoom.
According to the synopsis (via Spoilersguide.com) for episode 18, after acquiring tachyon device, Barry goes after Zoom in an attempt to stop him. As per the plan, Barry intends to open the breaches in order reach Zoom. However, Harry does not think it is a good idea.
Harry asks Barry to reconsider his plan, but Barry manages to convince Harry and extract important information from him. Harry tells Barry that the power to re-open the breach lies with Cisco. Will Barry succeed in his plan?

Meanwhile, fans can expect to learn more about Hunter Zoloman. The upcoming segment will delve deeper into Hunter Zoloman's story and reveal his origin on Earth-2.
In additional information, a new batch of photos from episode "Versus Zoom" have surfaced. The photos suggest that Zoom finds his way inside S.T.A.R Labs and he has Wally West in his custody. According to Melty, the photos were posted by Redditor Airsay 58259, suggesting the big reveal about Barry's identity. The website is speculating that Wally might finally find out that Barry is the Flash. The big reveal is speculated to impact Barry and Wally's relationship.
