It is not clear if viewers and fans of "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" would be happy had Zack Snyder's film run nearly four hours. The director's cut was 3 hours long but originally, it was almost 4 hours, shortened to 3.5 hours then finally, 2 hours and 33 minutes.

With the much-awaited "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" in theaters, the entertainment world is now filled with anything comics via interviews of characters, reviews, controversies, storylines and all. The first pricey superhero epic, the "Superman" film in 1978 starring Christopher Reeve was a big hit and since then, parent studio Warner Bros. Pictures would regularly develop a film that stars any of the two superheroes, Blastr reckoned.

Dawn of Justice editor David Brenner, who also edited "Man of Steel," and will work on the upcoming "Justice League," talked about the editing process of films, including the ongoing Bat movie.

Brenner shared that the script has more story lines than what is seen in the movie, with the beginning of the film being the trickiest section, when Bruce Wayne told Alfred the truth about the "White Portuguese" ship and his plan, Pro Video Coalition said.

The editor added there were lots to juggle, such as, Lex, who was supposed to be introduced much later, but needs to be introduced sooner as he has a significant role.

The film editor likewise talked about director Zack Snyder whom he described as a super visual guy who was a painter prior to directing films. Snyder thinks in pictures, storyboards his films and draws his movie from beginning to end. Perhaps he has three books of drawings for the current Dawn of Justice film.

The two great heroes are at war in "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice," while mankind figures out what type of hero they need. The conflict of the Dark Knight and the world's savior puts mankind in greater danger.

The film stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill as Batman and Superman, with Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Laurence Fishburne, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Tao Okamoto, Holly Hunter and Ray Fisher.
