Juan Manuel "El Dinamita" Marquez might want to see if Bradley brought enough punches to beat Pacman.
The Pacquiao-Marquez rivalry in the boxing ring could be one of the best that boxing had. The two fought great fights during their four-time clash, and during their fourth and last fight, Marquez landed a clean power punch that knocked down the 8-division world champion. However, Pacman's career did not ended by that knockout, because he eventually redeemed himself by dominating Brandon "Bam Bam" Rios in their fight at China. Meanwhile, it was also reported that Pacquiao will eventually be listed in the boxing hall of fame, and his impressive win over Bradley recently puts an exclamation mark that he is indeed among the greatest, and deserves to be called as a boxing legend.
On the other hand, although Marquez can still fight in the highest level, it has been rumored that after 2 fights, the 4-division world champion may follow Mayweather and Pacquiao 's retirement. This is why the fans of the Mexican boxing legend speculated a lot of things regarding the next opponent of their favorite boxer.
According to Boxing Scene, El Dinamita rejected the idea of him fighting the current WBO Welterweight champion, Jessie Vargas. The Mexican boxing legend said that legacy is the most important thing for him. That is why even Vargas has the belt, he would still prefer fighting the Puerto Rican boxing legend, Miguel Cotto. It is because Cotto's legacy is a great legacy, said by Marquez. He added a condition though that he will only fight Cotto at 147lbs, Digital Journal reported.
If the Marquez-Cotto fight would happen, it may be a tough one for Marquez who has been outside the boxing ring for 2 years. No wonder why the Mexican champion wants a tune up fight in the summer to condition himself in his possible clash with Cotto.
