American consumers are now going for the larger vehicles and crossovers, which made the company struggle with sales. They have now simplified it to the Dart SXT Sport, Dart Turbo, and Dart GT Sport, according to a news release from FCA's official website.

According to Green Car Reports, the company will be ending its production of the compact Dodge Dart along with the Chrysler 200 mid-size sedan. This move was done to free up production for more trucks and SUVs in the future, but before that happens, the Dodge Dart lineup for 2016 should have some changes.

FCA North America head of passenger car brands Tim Kuniskis said in a statement, that they were repositioning the Dart lineup to have better production, and dealer inventory. Kuniskis added that the new move was enacted to make it easier for dealers to order, and stock up the vehicles that customers want to purchase from them.

The 2016 Dodge Dart lineup is all about delivering a distinctive appearance with an athletic and stylish exterior design. The lineup also has 60 different safety and security features, which lets the passengers and drivers feel safe to be inside the vehicle.
