ABC's "Once Upon a Time" is having those once dead and buried returning and walking around again. Since characters have made their journey to the Underworld, a horde of initially killed characters have reappeared.
The dead are irritating and mocking those alive in the Land of the Dead, according to Buddy TV. Amid all the comebacks, some important characters are yet to surface including Sheriff Graham and Merlin.
Graham played a crucial role in "Once Upon a Time" season 1. It does not make sense why this character has been forgotten since his big death scene. Graham was Emma's first huge connection as compared to Henry to the Storybrooke universe.
Furthermore, Graham had a relatively great romantic relationship with Emma before meeting Regina, who crushed the Sheriff's heart into a fine ashy paste. As a result, he should come back to the show, especially because he was part of it when it was almost completely different story. Graham would be the best benchmark for portraying the way the entire show and characters have transformed and developed.
Fans of the show would be delighted to see the interplay between the Sheriff and Regina. It would be great for "Once Upon a Time" to sneak a meta-joke about Graham's new role as Christian Grey.
Meanwhile, the death of Merlin in "Once Upon a Time" Season 5 depicted an anti-climax. There were indicators for some time that the character might meet his demise, which eventually occurred though very fast and far too rushed, according to another report by the same publication. Hook did many bad things as a Dark One, but killing Merlin in such a casual manner may be the most unforgivable.
Up to now, the show has not focused on the mistakes of Hook when he was a Dark One. For this reason, the character has returned to his usual snarky self. It would be fascinating for Hook to confront what he did as the Dark One, something that can happen when he faces the dead Merlin.
