It is undeniable that fans of "Attack on Titan," also known as "Shingeki No Kyojin," went through speculation after speculation just to get a juice of the hit anime's sequel. Fortunately, factual information about the upcoming season has surfaced, it might not be the official details about "Attack on Titan" season 2's storylines, yet the said information was enough to give hope on the waiting fans.

It has been confirmed that "Attack on Titan" season 2 has resumed its production after pausing to let the manga catch up with the anime series, and this confirmation which happened not so long ago sparked a pile of rumors relating to "Attack on Titan" season 2.

According to recent rumors, fans will see their favorite anime on the small screen later this year, Movie Pilot reported. Although there is no confirmation yet coming from the franchise, there could be some truth to this speculation. There is also a possibility that the anime may not totally copy every scene of its manga version. This could be the basis that the series is now far ahead on its development.

In contrary, there is also a high probability that what fans read on the manga will most likely be what they will see in the anticipated sequel. Unless there is no confirmation coming from the franchise itself, then the release date of "Attack on Titan" season 2 would still remain blurry.

In regards to "Attack on Titan" season 2's plots, several reports points out that it should be one of the Reiss family members who should wear the crown, because it has been revealed that the Reiss' are the true royal family, Cross Map reported. In addition to that, the Reiss' can also turn into Titans, having the same abilities like ErenYeager. It was also exposed that Krista Lenz and Historia Reiss are the same person, which means she can also transform into a titan.

Another shocking revelation on "Attack on Titan" season 2 is that Ymir, Braun and Bertolt are said to have the capabilities of turning into a titan, and that they would play as antagonists in the upcoming sequel.

Nevertheless, aside from the fact that the production of "Attack on Titan" season 2 has resumed, all other information are all just speculations and rumors, and it is still better if fans can wait for further announcement coming from the franchise producer and director.
