One of the more revered action movie franchises, "The Expendables 4" is still up in the air as Sylvester Stallone is rumored to be torn between "The Expendables" franchise and the award-winning "Creed" movie.
One of "The Expendables" main cast Terry Crews recently said that Stallone is having second thoughts on making "The Expendables 4" as it seems like his heart now belongs to "Creed," which is now confirmed to have a sequel, Cross Map reported. Also, another concern they are facing is that, the film remains with no director to take the lead.
"I'm just thinking he's got options now," Terry Crews said in an interview. "He should think about what his next move is going to be, what he's going to do. 'Creed' was amazing. It showed his depth and he's a lot deeper than people always give him credit for."
Looking on the bright side though, another cast member, Randy Couture reportedly confirmed with The Arnold Fans that they will start filming fall of 2016, according to the blog Flickering Myth.
"At the #ArnoldSportsFestival, Randy Couture confirms 'Expendables 4' starts filming this fall #schwarzenegger," The Arnold Fans posted on Twitter last Mar. 10.
However, Schwarzenegger has yet to make a comment regarding Couture's statement. Nevertheless, The "Terminator" star is one of the biggest believers of this franchise.
"I just think it's a terrific franchise," Schwarzenegger said in an interview last year. "I told Sly to write another one or have someone else write another one."
He feels like they have something special going on that other film franchises never had. Forming an elite ensemble cast of legendary action stars is something fans greatly want. He also said that there is totally a room for one more installment.
Another cast member, Jason Statham is also urging Stallone to make another film and he will be willing to reprise his role as many times as Stallone wants. However, he also said that he is not a fan of Justin Bieber's rumored inclusion to the cast. Lastly, big names linked to "The Expendables 4" cast are Jackie Chan, Pierce Brosnan and Steven Seagal.
