The Golden State Warriors are having their best season as a franchise after breaking the all-time record for most wins in a season, previously held by the 95-96 Chicago Bulls.

Finishing the season with a 73-9 record, it is hard to argue that the Warriors are the clear favorite to win the NBA title in back-to-back years. However, reigning MVP Steph Curry injured his ankles in game one of their best-of-7 first round match-up against the eighth seed, Houston Rockets.

Curry, who was sidelined often during his early years in the league, had recurring ankle issues, and the Warriors do not want to risk another injury that might render the MVP out for the rest of the playoffs.

Head coach Steve Kerr said in a press conference that Curry's status for game two is still questionable, not because the point guard is not fit to play, but looking at how the previous game ended, the Dubs might just pull up the win without Curry's services.

"As far as [Game 2 on] Monday, I'd say Steph is questionable," Kerr told ESPN in a post-game interview. "We will see how he responds the next couple of days and go from there."

But the reigning MVP himself told the media that he is absolutely fine and is ready to go for game two.

"Right now, don't see a scenario where I'll be out," Curry said during game one's post-game conference.

Should they decide to sit out Curry, there are still plenty of firepower left in the roster in Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Harrison Barnes and Andre Iguodala.

Meanwhile, on the Rockets' side, star James Harden shrugged off the loss as he believes the score is no indication of being swept. He added that he will take it one game at a time and make sure that they win one in the Warriors' home court.

''It's only one game,'' Harden told Yahoo Sports. ''No matter the deficit, you win by 30, you lose by 30, you win by one, it's only one game. Our focus is to come in here and win one game. And we'll have that opportunity Monday night.''

Game two between the Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets is happening tomorrow, 10:30 ET. Here are some highlights of game one between the two teams.
