"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 will open on a high note starting September.

In season 2, several shocking twists were unveiled in the finale episode.

Not only was it revealed that Frank (Charlie Weber) almost killed Annalise Keating (Viola Davis); it was also confirmed that Bonnie (Liza Weil) could do anything and everything for her boss.

Here are three things that we expect to see in the premiere episode of "How to Get Away With Murder" season 3.

Annalise Keating returns to her students

Annalise is a very brave professor, but it seems that all hell broke loose in the finale episode when she decided to run to her mom.

The lead character couldn't take the fact that Frank almost had her killed 10 years ago. To make things worse, Frank also killed the baby in Annalise's womb.

When the show returns in the next few fans, viewers expect Annalise to return to her students and to face whatever issues she left behind.

Wes finds out more information about Wallace Mahoney

In the finale episode, Wes (Alfred Enoch) decided to track down his father Wallace Mahoney (Adam Arkin).

Upon seeing him face-to-face, Wes was surprised because his dad was shot right in front of his very eyes.

Now that Wallace is dead, it's highly likely for Wes to ask Annalise to help him find his father's killer.

Oliver's HIV storyline

Lastly, viewers are also looking forward to finding out more about Oliver's (Conrad Ricamora) HIV diagnosis.

In season 1, Oliver and his boyfriend Connor (Jack Falahee) decided to have themselves checked. The former then tested positive while the latter tested negative.

Since his diagnosis, Oliver's HIV storyline has never been discussed on the hit ABC show ever again.

In an interview with TV Line, executive producer Pete Nowalk said that Oliver will have a different outlook in life after his diagnosis.

"Oliver has a new lease on life... not only meeting Connor, but also his HIV-positive diagnosis. All of it has made him look at his life and say, 'What do I really want?'" he said.

"How to Get Away With Murder" season 3 will premiere on ABC on September.
