"Empire" season 2, episode 14 will see Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) finding out about Anika's (Grace Gealey) pregnancy.
In the previous episode, Anika told Andre (Trai Byers) and Rhonda (Kaitlin Doubleday) that she's pregnant with Hakeem's child.
At that time, the couple already urged Anika to tell Hakeem the truth about her pregnancy.
In "Time Shall Unfold," Anika will do as she was advised. However, it is unclear how Hakeem will react about the news.
At present, Hakeem is in love with another woman who also happens to be his talent. So it's possible that Anika's revelation wouldn't excite him even just for a little bit.
On the contrary, it's also possible that Hakeem will be excited over the arrival of his baby especially since he or she will become the first grandchild of Lucious (Terrence Howard) and Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson).
Andre and Rhonda were supposed to give the couple their first grandchild. However, an accident recently happened that took the life of their baby.
There are some ongoing speculations that Anika may have been the one who pushed Rhonda down the stairs after the former found out about her pregnancy.
Unfortunately, what Rhonda did could bite her back if she decides to tell Hakeem about it, and the latter urges her to confess her deed to Andre and Rhonda.
Meanwhile, "Empire" season 2, episode 14 will also see Hakeem and Lucious going head-to-head.
The former CEO of Empire Entertainment will gather the heads of the company to expose his own son's incompetency as the new CEO.
Lucious' move will not sit well with Hakeem who believes that he deserves the position that he currently has.
It's also possible that Hakeem will use Anika's pregnancy to encourage his father to stop taking the company away from him. Now that he will become a father, he needs to be able to provide for his child.
Elsewhere, Jamal (Jussie Smollett) will be partnering with Freda Gatz. As it turns out, Freda is the daughter of the man that Lucious killed last season.
"Empire" season 2, episode 14 will air on FOX on April 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
