Arsenal used to hold the third spot in the English top flight table, but four winless performances in their last six assignments allowed Manchester City to overtake them for the said position. The team is holding on to the fourth and final Champions League qualifying berth for next season as they are still four points above fifth-running Manchester United with five games left in their campaign this season.

The Gunners are coming off a disappointing 1-1 draw with lowly team Crystal Palace at their home field of Emirates Stadium last Sunday, via SkySports.

Chilean winger Alexis Sanchez broke the deadlock during the first half injury time with a header off a brilliant assist from striker Danny Welbeck to give the lead to Arsene Wenger's squad before the halftime interval.

It looked like Arsenal is headed for a crucial win as they kept the lead for most of the second half until Crystal Palace midfielder Yannick Bolasie was able to equalize the count with only nine minutes remaining in the game.

Meanwhile, West Brom suffered their fourth consecutive winless game with a 0-1 loss to middling team Watford at their home ground of the Hawthorns last Saturday, as per BBC Sport.

Hornets midfielder Ben Watson scored the lone goal of the contest at the 27th minute and manager Tony Pulis' boys were unable to respond with anything for the whole duration of the match.

It was the third defeat in the last four games for the Baggies as they dropped to the 14th spot of the league table. They are still safely 10 points above the bottom three relegation zone, though, and are not pressured with the idea of getting demoted to the Football League Championship next season with five matches left in their current campaign.

The predicted result is a 2-0 victory for Arsenal.
