The rumor sparked after Sean Schemmel (voice of Goku) may have revealed a sequel for "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" in his interview at the Bristol Comic Con in April 9, Christian Times reported. The voice actor said that he cannot confirm whether there is a sequel or not, but he thinks that there would be a DLC or another "Xenoverse" game coming. He added that Bandai Namco is going to do a smart move if the game publisher would make a "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," knowing that the first "Xenoverse" game was very successful.

There are still no firm details that would support the rumors surrounding to "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2," which is why all information regarding the game will stay as speculations; however, in the coming months, credible details about "Dragon Ball Xenoverse" sequel will definitely surface.

Furthermore, it is highly unlikely that a game publisher would not consider doing a sequel for a particular game that performed well in the market. Given this information, it would not be surprising that Bandai Namco will eventually confirm and announce that the company is already working on the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2." Fans should just be patient because there is a high probability for this claim.

Meanhile, it seems that Bandai Namco is going to release a new "Dragon Ball" game for Nintendo 3DS, called "Dragon Ball: Project Fusion," Gematsu reported. The specific release date of "Dragon Ball: Project Fusion" is still unknown, but it is expected to be out this year.
