Premier League rivals Manchester United and Chelsea are rumored to be targeting Atletico Madrid forward Antoine Griezmann, according to the latest football transfer rumors.

According to the Mirror, United are ready to battle Chelsea for a summer transfer of Atletico's Griezmann, who is believed to be one of incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte's key target in the summer market. With United in the mix, the Blues could face a challenge in recruiting the Atletico Madrid attacker, although the same thing could be said for the Red Devils, who have sent scouts to watch the 25-year-old French international, reports the Mail.

Griezmann has become one of the Spanish league's most lethal striker since joining the Red and Whites in 2014, scoring 30 goals in all competition this season. However, there are concerns about Griezmann's ability to cope up with the physical play in the Premier League, considering his small frame.

According to the Independent, there is a growing sense Atletico would not sell their best striker to any of the Premier League clubs linked to the Frenchman, adding that such move would probably cost a transfer fee of at least £60 million.

Meanwhile, Liverpool could be in play to acquire their Bundesliga targets Mario Gotze of Bayern Munich and Mats Hummels of Borussia Dortmund.

Spanish media outlet Fichajes, cited by Alex Wood of the Daily Star, reported that Gotze will make his choice after the European Championship this summer, while Hummels has hinted a cloudy future with his current club, according to DW Sports.

Gotze, who has been long linked to a move at Anfield, has been enduring a tough season at Bayern Munich under Pep Guardiola's command. But with the Spaniard set to depart for Manchester City this summer, there is a chance the 23-year-old German could stay with the Bundesliga side and earn back his starting role under Carlo Ancelotti.

On the other hand, Hummels, who still has a year left in his contract with Dortmund, admitted he has been weighing his options for this summer as a potential move is a "big issue" for the German defender. The 27-year-old has won two Bundesliga titles with Dortmund after joining the club permanently from Bayern Munich in 2009.

"It's been taking me at least half an hour extra to fall asleep for several weeks now because this is such a big issue for me," Hummels said, reports the BBC.
