As the EA Play event coming fast this June, fans could not help but to speculate that the said event may unveil the long awaited game, "Battlefield 5." It cannot be denied that "Battlefield 5" belongs to the group of the most anticipated games of EA, which is why fans of the "Battlefield" franchise are hoping that EA would finally reveal the next installment of the game-franchise, knowing that this might be the right time for the game publisher to do it while fans are still very excited.

However, EA has already confirmed its lineup for the said event, and according to a report from the gaming company's official website, the event is going to uncover "Titanfall 2" plus three sports games. Apparently, the announcement did not mention anything about "Battlefield 5." Although this has been the case, there may still be a chance that EA may surprise the fans in the said event by revealing the status of "Battlefield 5."

Since the game has successfully conquered the interest of its avid fans, it cannot be helped that the fans would go for speculations after speculations just to satisfy their appetite for the fifth installment of "Battlefield," knowing that EA has not released any specific details regarding "Battlefield 5" yet. One of the rumors that fans were hooked into is last year's IMDB post, exposing the release date of the game to be on Nov. 23, 2016.

In addition, the most compelling rumor is the post of the Reddit user "Koxin," which revealed various information about the much anticipated "Battlefield 5." The post did also indicate the release date, which according to "Koxin" will be on June 12. Interestingly, the first day of the EA Play event is on June 12 this year.

Nevertheless, EA has not given a statement yet confirming the release date of the long awaited game; however, the upcoming EA Play event might shed some light about the current status of the popular game franchise.
