"The Flash" season 2 recently saw Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) being kidnapped by Hunter Zolomon (Teddy Sears).

In an interview with TV Line, Sears said that his character didn't kidnap Caitlin because she will eventually become his love interest Beauty.

The actor said that he's very pleased with the showrunners decision to not link Caitlin to Hunter because the former was already paired with the latter's counterpart Jay Garrick.

"No, that doesn't happen, which is actually kind of refreshing," he said.

Meanwhile, Sears said that the reason behind the kidnapping will eventually be unveiled in the upcoming episodes.

"We eventually piece the armor and see why he's taken her," he said. Unfortunately, Hunter's motivations will not immediately become clear.

Caitlin, for her part, will be very concerned with Hunter's state because she is aware that something is off with him.

"Caitlin, though, would be wise to worry. After all, her captor is 'off,' he's broken, he is not a linear, level-headed guy and he eventually make a decision which gets us to where we go next," he said.

In other news, the filming for "The Flash" season 2 has officially been completed.

According to Comicbook.com, there are still four episodes waiting airing this season. However, lead star Grant Gustin has confirmed that the filming for the second installment has officially come to a close.

On his Twitter account, the actor, who plays the role of Barr Allen/The Flash wrote, "I'm so glad to be on hiatus for a bit! Ha! We'll be back shooting season 3 early July. And you guys still have 4 eps to enjoy!"

Meanwhile, following Tuesday night's episode entitled, "Versus Zoom," Gustin took his thought to Twitter to praise the installment.

"Strong episode of @CW_TheFlash last night. This cast is amazing @teddysears killed it. I love being a part of this show."

"The Flash" season 2 airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
