Angelina Jolie's father Jon Voight reportedly reached out to Brad Pitt after he saw pictures of the actress looking skinny as ever.
According to Radar Online, Voight also asked Jolie to try and turn her life around while she still has the chance to do so. However, the actress reportedly ignored her father's concern.
"Jon was concerned after seeing photos of his daughter looking like she was wasting away, and he called Brad... He practically begged Brad to get Angie to talk to him, but Brad had to tell him he's about the last person Angie would want to hear from about this," a source told the publication.
Meanwhile, according to Inquisitr, Jolie and Voight don't have a peaceful relationship at the moment. After all, the actress is not very pleased with how her dad left her mother a few years ago.
Additionally, during a 2002 interview, Voight dropped a huge bomb during one interview by saying that his own daughter has "serious mental problems."
Since then, the actress has reportedly made a conscious effort to distance herself from Voight.
"It's like Angie let him into their lives, just a little bit, to show him what he's missing. It's pretty clear she's never fully forgiven him for breaking up the family, or flapping his gums about her," the source added.
As of late, there are some rumors that Jolie is already 79 pounds. Due to her drastic weight loss, fans of the actress have been speculating that she could be suffering from an eating disorder or is currently battling cancer.
In other news, there are also some reports that Pitt and Jolie are on the brink of a divorce. Pitt previously said that he wants to be his wife's knight in shining armor. He has also fully embraced the actress' dark side for the past couple of years.
However, sources claimed that Pitt has already reached a point where he no longer wants to suffer because of Jolie. Due to this, it seems that the couple will file for a divorce very soon.
As of late, Pitt and Jolie have not yet confirmed or denied these rumors.
