The latest details for "The Flash" 2018 movie will feature characters that are rumored to be part of the film and Cyborg having a cameo appearance.

Several rumors are making rounds that "The Flash" movie starring "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" actor Ezra Miller will feature five characters from The Flash comic mythos as Warner Bros. is casting only five roles, although it was explained that these could be cast for "type" and not necessarily a character in the film, The Heroic Hollywood reported.

Thes characters include Iris West, Eobard Thawne, Fred Chyre, Leonard Snart and Jay Garrick. Iris West is Barry Allen's (Miller) love interest as "The Flash" solo film describes her as having Christiane Amanpour’s brains and Carrie Bradshaw’s style. Just like in the comics she is a reporter at the Central City Citizen.

The next character is Eobard Thawne a.k.a. Professor Zoom/Reverse-Flash is described in the movie the "Bill Gates" of Central City and one the smartest man in the room. Thawne is suffering from a advanced degenerating desease and left confined on a wheel chair. It is unknown yet if this version of Thawne will be a speedster in DC Extended Universe, nor is his sickness a cover up similar to "The Flash" TV series.

Fred Chyre in the film is police detective and a colleague of Barry. Chyre is the closest thing Barry has as a friend and tries to solve an unusual case involving someone being dead in Thawne Laboratories.

Leonard Snart/Captain Cold is called "Len Snart" in "The Flash" solo movie and is an ex-military who works for Thawne. He is described as "the muscle" behind Eobard Thawne similar to Anatoli Knyazev's (Callan Mulvey) role in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice".

Lastly, Jay Garrick is added to the film and he is a former professor at Central City University. He was fired by the university for fringe experiment involving the Speed Force and will have only a cameo role.

In other news, a certain Justice League member will be appearing in "The Flash" solo movie as film producer Deborah Snyder told Forbes that Victor Stone/Cyborg (Ray Fisher) will be appearing alongside Barry Allen.

Snyder added that unlike "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" and rest of the DCEU movies, "The Flash" solo film will likely be lighter tone rather than a dark one as she cited Miller's personality as "funny" and described both Cyborg and The Flash comradery as something nice, being that these two are the youngest members in the Justice League.

Both The Flash and Cyborg appeared in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" as one the many metahumans being investigated on by Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg). Victor is being revive by his father Silas Stone using advance cybernetic technology, when an unknown cube starts to glow and recreates Victor's body.

Barry in the other hand, has been found in a surveillance stopping a robber in a convenience store using his super speed and is the mysterious time traveler that tells Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) of the coming dangers ahead in the film.

The Flash will next appear in "Justice League" Part 1 on Nov. 17, 2017, while his solo film is on March 16, 2018.
