Second-running squad Borussia Dortmund (23-3-5, 74 points) will look to extend their winning run to three games late in the 2015-2016 Bundesliga season as they take on the challenge of reeling contenders VfL Wolfsburg (10-12-9, 39 points) at the Signal Iduna Park on Saturday, April 30th.

Borussia Dortmund maintained their title challenge alive after an easy 3-0 win over lowly squad VfB Stuttgart at the Mercedes-Benz Arena last Saturday, as per Goal.

Top goalscorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is still sidelined with a toe injury but his temporary replacement, teenage American midfielder Christian Pulisic has been playing well for head coach Thomas Tuchel recently.

Japanese winger Shinji Kagawa opened the scoring at the 21st minute for Die Borussen off a brilliant cross from Armenian winger Henrikh Mkhitaryan before Pulisic doubled the lead at the stroke of halftime. Mkhitaryan scored the team's third goal at the 56th to virtually seal the game.

BVB is currently seven points behind league leaders and defending champions Bayern Munich in the league table with only three matchdays left in the season. If the Bavarians will be able to beat Borussia Monchengladbach in their match also on Saturday, then Pep Guardiola's squad will clinch their fourth straight Bundesliga trophy whether or not Dortmund wins against Wolfsburg.

Meanwhile, last season's runner-up team Wolfsburg has been disappointing in the past month as the team had been winless in their last five matches.

Their last game was a 0-2 loss to weak team FC Augsburg at their home field of Volkswagen Arena also last Saturday, as reported by Vavel.

Icelandic forward Alfred Finnbogason gave the visitors the early lead right at the first minute of the match with a left-footed shot from the center box while teammate Halil Altintop netted the second goal three minutes before the hour mark to give head coach Dieter Hecking's side their second consecutive loss.

Die Wölfe is now at the 10th spot of the league table and is out of contention for a Champions League berth with only three games left in their season.

The predicted result is another 3-0 rout for Borussia Dortmund.
