According to a report from SamMobile, Samsung has begun releasing Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy Tab S2 9.7 in Germany.

Several reports indicate that the electronics giant has begun releasing the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F) devices in Italy (unlocked variant) and Germany. The update was also recently pushed out to the handset in Sri Lanka and India.

According to recent reports, many telecommunication companies in North America have rolled out the Android Marshmallow update to their consumers.

Telus, Canadian telecom provider, has rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for their subscribers who have Samsung Galaxy S6 on April 18. The rollout date of the update was set on March 9 that was then pushed back to April 13.

Canadians who have Telus-powered Galaxy S6 devices will be happy since Telus upgraded directly to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, skipping Android 6.0 Marshmallow and providing customers with better security features.

Several Samsung users in the United States will see their handsets upgraded to Android Marshmallow. The mobile carrier T-Mobile has announced on April 18 that they will start rolling out the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update to subscribers who own Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Galaxy Note 5. However, T-Mobile subscribers can expect to get the Android 6.0.1 update between now and May 20.

Users who are on a Wi-Fi connection will get a notification that they can download the Marshmallow update. The Android 6.0.1 update takes up 1.34GB, therefore, users should make sure that they have sufficient space in their device and sufficient time to install the latest update.

On April 14, the mobile carrier T-Mobile has rolled out the Android M update for its Samsung S6 Edge and Samsung Galaxy S6 devices. The update is 1.2GB in size, therefore, users need to clear enough space in their devices before downloading the Android M update and make sure that they have a stable and strong internet connection.

The mobile carriers Sprint and Verizon have rolled out the Android Marshmallow update for their S6 Edge and Galaxy S6 devices, Digital Trends reported. However, the mobile carrier AT&T has not announced when they will release the updates for their phones.
