'Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization' PS4 release date set on Oct. 27 in Japan; Western launch to follow soon, new gameplay features revealed [VIDEOS]

New details for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature the game's release date in Japan, a western launch date soon and new gameplay features.

Bandai Namco Entertainment begun streaming a new game trailer for "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" which explains more gameplay details, features and its official release date. The new "SAO" video game takes place in the year 2066, three years after the "SAO" incident as Kirito and his friends embark on a new journey top play new MMORPG video game called "Sword Art: Origin".

The new MMORPG is a mixture of ALfheim Online and Sword Art Online video games due to its texture and creation. It soon discovered that "Sword Art: Origin has the same servers from the original "SAO" death game and things are not what they seem, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.

"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will feature a four person party and allow gamers to customize their own character avatar within the game. Online multiplayer is also featured in the game were in gamers can form a party with friends. Gamers can also change their equipement to compensate with their gameplay style.

Players assume the role of Kirito again as he explores the world of "Sword Art: Origin" along with his friends Asuna, Leafa, Sinon, Lisbeth and Silica. Recent reports revealed that Philia and Strea are added to the sequel along with a new character named Premiere, who happens to be a NPC within "Sword Art: Origin".

Kirito and the gang will be exploring a new setting called Ainground as they battle several monsters within "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization". Players will be using new sword skills to fight enemies just like the original Sword Art Online game and they can direct and receive guidance from party members to perform collaborative strategies and attacks.

Players can perform chain attacks with party members using "Switch" for extra damage against more powerful monsters.

Bandai Namco will launch "Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" on Oct. 27 for the PlayStation 4 and PS Vita in Japan, AnimeNewsNetwork reported. Both version will have regular and limited editions, as the limited edition feature a box art illustrated by abec, a soundtrack CD, special contents Blu-ray disc, extra package for the Blu-ray and CD, "Dengeki Nerve Gear vol.4" pamphlet, and mini clear posters.

"Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization" will be available on Oct. 27 in Japan, while the North American version will launch sometime in the fall 2016.
