Gamers are certainly excited with the recent news that the action adventure third person shooter video game, "Mafia," is coming back with its third installment. It is said that "Mafia 3" will finally be released on Oct. 7.

The game's publisher 2K Games recently released a promo video for the said game, and fans definitely loved it. The trailer, titled "One Way Road Story," reveals a 1960's setting of New Bordeaux. The upcoming "Mafia 3" game will focus on Lincoln Clay, who happens to be an ex-solider, Euro Gamer reported.

The "Mafia" game series is entertaining with its high-action gameplay. With that said, it can be expected that the upcoming "Mafia 3" will definitely be more explosive, with more bloodshed, guns and vehicles, which is quite perfect for the high-action gameplay lovers.

The good news about the anticipated game is that, it will come with freebies for those who would pre-order it. The official website of "Mafia 3" revealed that the game is available in three variations that include standard, deluxe and collector's edition of the game. All three copies of "Mafia 3" comes with a free lieutenant themed weapons and vehicles.

However, only the deluxe and collector's edition will have a free season pass, and a free downloadable content for the game. It is said that "Mafia 3" deluxe is valued at $79.99 and "Mafia 3" collector's edition is priced at $149.99.

Another plus of the game is its no game-over feature, which allows the gamers to continue even if they have already failed the mission for as long as the character is still alive, PlayStation Blog reported.

The no game-over but death feature is said to be one of the best things about "Mafia 3," giving the gamers the chance to be creative on how they should approach a certain mission. Perhaps, the Mafia series, particularly the "Mafia 3," is becoming one of the most interesting video game this year, and it seems that it wants to snatch the throne of the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise by Rockstar Studios.

Since "Mafia 3" would be finally available in the market by October, fans may want to preorder the game if they want to take advantage of the game's freebies.
