Samhwa Network Co., has announced that the entirety of the upcoming South Korean blockbuster-melodrama, "Uncontrollably Fond," will get a simultaneous broadcast in five countries across the world.

In an interview with a local media outlet, as per Hello Kpop, the show's production company revealed that the upcoming TV drama will launch in South Korea, North America, Mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan on July 6. In the United States, the upcoming TV series will premiere on the same date in DramaFever Corp., a video website owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment.

In China, the show will air on a video-streaming service called Youku Tudou, while it will be simulcast on TV with either subtitles or dubbing in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The giant company went ahead to say that they are actively in talks with many international networks, including Japan, in light of the show's broadcasting rights.

The 20-part melodrama TV series' is the latest project from screenwriter Lee Kyung Hee of 2004's hit drama, "I'm Sorry, I Love You," and 2012's "The Innocent Man." Due to the unequivocal success of "Descendants of the Sun," the show's production team opted the fully pre-produced format and begun filming on Nov. 26, 2015, at Kyungnam University in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province.

On April 12, the production team and cast member officially concluded the filming for the drama and to date, they are in the phase of wrapping up for the show's post-production. "Uncontrollably Fond" follows the story of childhood sweethearts, Shin Joon Young (Kim Woo Bin) and No Eul (Bae Suzy), who got separated due to an ill-fated relationship, but meet again in later life, News Everyday has learned.

Shin Joon Young is now an attractive, intelligent top actor and singer, while No Eul is the program director of documentaries, who have a sycophantic personality and kisses up to those with more power than her. It also stars Lim Ju Hwan, Lim Ju-Eun, Yu Oh Seong, Jin Kyung, Jeong Seon Kyung, Choi Moo Sung, Jang Hui Ryoung, Ryu Won and Kim Min Young.

"Uncontrollably Fond" is Kim's first leading role and comeback drama in three years since "The Heirs," and Suzy's first since 2013's "Gu Family Book." It premieres on July 6 on KBS with Wednesday-Thursday 10 PM KST time slot.
